During police activity along the Tel Aviv coastline on Friday, a report was received regarding a suspicious man who allegedly entered the water, approached two 12-year-old girls, and touched them.

Simon Levy, 40, was found guilty last week of the murder of Carmenza Valencia-Trujillo in March 2025 and of Sheryl Wilkins in August 2025, and of the rape and serious assault of a third woman.

The woman, 33, and the man, 43, both from central Israel, are accused of numerous sexual offenses against the four children. The woman’s daughters were between 8 and 12-years-old at the time.

The Rishon Lezion Magistrate’s Court ordered the official to two days of house arrest, barred him from the municipality for 30 days, and prohibited him from contacting the complainant.

According to the indictment, the main defendant called on the complainants to approach him, after which the defendants allegedly subjected them to severe abuse for approximately two hours.

Security cameras at a facility for children with disabilities allegedly captured a sports instructor committing indecent acts against several female residents during a covert police investigation.

A probe was launched after officials discovered surveillance cameras had been turned off at an Iraqi police station where a detainee was allegedly assaulted.

Prosecutors say the 22-year-old ignored the woman's repeated objections, forced his way into her Petah Tikva apartment, and sexually assaulted her. They asked that he remain in custody pending trial.

In a documentary called "Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret," four women described encounters that took place between 2002 and 2016 when the actor was in his 30s or 40s. He is now 54.

The court also ordered Barkat Abu Issa to pay NIS 200,000 in compensation, comprising NIS 150,000 to the woman and NIS 50,000 to her son, who was two years old at the time of the attack.
