At the front of Haifa’s luxury Botanica Hotel, the Terrace restaurant has recently opened, successfully combining Mediterranean cuisine with Italian touches, all while offering a breathtaking view of the Bahai Gardens. The kosher restaurant, one of the few in the area, is open to the public and brings a culinary delight to the city’s residents and visitors.

At Terrace, you will find three different dining spaces: A lively bar, an intimate indoor area, and a relaxed indoor terrace, allowing guests to sit and enjoy the spectacular view. The atmosphere is designed so that each guest can choose the experience that suits them – whether they want a quiet meal or to enjoy the activity around the bar.

The kitchen is led by Chef Chaim Dayan, with over three decades of experience, alongside Chef Ziko Hijab. Together, they have created a contemporary Mediterranean menu based on fresh ingredients from Mount Carmel, Wadi Nisnas, and the Mediterranean Sea. Signature dishes include Kanafeh Polenta (NIS 59), Sea Fish Crudo (NIS 64), Mushroom and Truffle Puree Risotto (NIS 64), Inverno Salad (NIS 64), Salmon Polenta (NIS 124), and Za’atar Cloud Gnocchi (NIS 82). The menu offers a combination of rich, fresh, and precise flavors, reminiscent of top-tier chef restaurants.

The cocktails also receive a unique touch, inspired by the connection to the land and local plants. Guests can enjoy drinks such as Spain to Egypt – white wine with strawberries, Breeze of Greece – ouzo with lychee, or Italia Spicy – gin with chili.

Currently, the restaurant is hosting an olive oil festival to mark the harvest season and Hanukkah, in collaboration with Achiya Farm and Tenne Winery. During the festival, special dishes based on olive oil are served, alongside wines at special prices. Groups ordering over NIS 200 will even receive a bottle of olive oil for tasting. During Hanukkah, a festive candle lighting will take place, and the restaurant will be decorated in a Christmas spirit.

Opening hours are Sunday to Thursday from 13:00 to 23:00, and Saturday evenings from 19:00 to 23:00, with the restaurant closed on Fridays.
