When a MasterChef contestant and a high-tech programmer decide to open a coffee cart, the result is far from the standard "coffee and pastry." It’s a menu that changes every week, premium coffee from Vienna, and an approach that elevates the entire weekend experience.
The food truck complex at Kibbutz Galil Yam, one of the most sought-after culinary destinations in the center over the past year, is renewing itself with the addition of "Bisleh – Bite, Coffee, Smile."
The cart is already operating on weekends, bringing a coffee experience with a rotating handmade menu of bite-sized sandwiches on bagels, pretzels, and brioche, seasonal salads, sweet pastries, shakes, and coffee from Julius Meinl – an international brand from Vienna with a tradition spanning over 150 years.
Childhood Friends, MasterChef, and High-Tech
Behind Bisleh are Shlomi Harosh and El Sadeh – childhood friends who reconnected around their love of culinary arts. El, a high-tech programmer and a contestant on the current season of MasterChef, leads the kitchen. Together with Shahar Finkel, who manages operations, the trio brings a professional, youthful, and surprising approach that elevates the weekend experience at the complex.
With the arrival of autumn and the holiday season, the complex at the entrance to Kibbutz Galil Yam is a perfect destination for a walk, an outing, and a good bite. The kibbutz, located near Herzliya, offers green spaces, open air, and a pastoral atmosphere that immerses visitors in a different rhythm.
Over the past year, the complex has become a beloved culinary hub for families, couples, and food enthusiasts, thanks to the combination of green nature, a warm kibbutz atmosphere, and a view overlooking the city.
Alongside Bisleh, the complex hosts four permanent carts – French Burger, L’unio Fish and Chips, Nonna Fortuna, and Austin Meat Sandwiches – which continue to attract crowds from the entire area. Together, they create a full and diverse leisure experience in the heart of the Sharon region.
