Israeli woman rescued after being found wandering in Jericho

Initial investigation into the incident indicated that the 22-year-old woman mistakenly ended up in Jericho while intending to travel to a different destination. 

A 22-year-old Israeli woman was rescued by Israeli forces after accidentally entering Jericho in Area A of the West Bank.

Israel sees record-breaking number of rabies cases in 2025

In 2025, 102 animals were recorded as infected with rabies, setting a new record, whereas in 2024, only 55 cases were recorded. The previous record-holding year, 2017, only had 74 cases.
