A source in the US State Department said that, in addition to Abbas, the US has denied visas to 80 other officials from the PA.

The latest move would create new hurdles for international students, exchange workers, and foreign journalists who would have to apply to extend their stay in the US.

This follows the State Department halting all visas as it holds "a full and thorough" review following far Right conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer claiming that Palestinian refugees were entering US.

According to the report, the decision was made by French authorities due to the ongoing war in Gaza and tensions between Israel and France. 

The Palestinian couple and their four children were given permission to enter the United Kingdom to join their relative, a British citizen, earlier this year.

“American Christians are among Israel’s strongest supporters, and the resolution of this issue among friends is a positive outcome,” Huckabee said.

"It would be unfortunate if we were forced to publicly disclose that Israel is engaging in harassment and displaying a negative stance toward these groups."

Claire Liddy, International spokesperson for GAA Palestine, told RTÉ Radio One on Tuesday that an appeal had been lodged.

One of the people wounded on the day, 82-year-old Karen Diamond, died of her injuries on June 25. Soliman now faces over 70 charges, including first-degree murder.
