While most countries ban slavery, they seemingly don’t ban imports from other countries where slavery may exist. Such imports allegedly lead to unfair exports to the US.

The first flight to the Central African Republic is expected to take about 20 people, including two women facing the risk of torture and persecution if they are forced to go back to Iran.

This change in policy comes amid concerns about the quality of medical care provided in ICE facilities after 18 deaths were reported in the first five months of 2026.

There have always been "America First" forces within the US, and even within the Pentagon, who opposed American intervention in Iran, and are angry at Israel for its role in starting the war.

The meetings in Washington between the US, Israel, and Lebanon are important, but it remains to be seen what concrete changes can emerge. 

After the call, Netanyahu said that he had told Trump that "if Hezbollah doesn't stop attacking our towns and citizens - Israel will attack terror targets in Beirut."

Trump said that he would "take the place of these highly paid, third rate ‘Artists,’ to speak at the start of the festivities to be held on the National Mall in late June.
