Israel Police stated that the terrorist had hit a police patrol vehicle belonging to the Judea and Samaria District. An officer and a soldier were inside the vehicle as part of a joint operation.

According to the indictment, the two worked together from late 2023 to advance “military” activity, acquiring numerous weapons, and working to recruit and train additional terror operatives.

"The path to victory over terrorism requires...creating strong deterrence. The gallows are an important tool in this struggle, as part of an overall change in approach," said Ben-Gvir.
