The Technion and Tel Aviv University rank among the top 10 global universities for entrepreneurship, highlighting Israel’s growing impact on the startup ecosystem.

Sofwave, an Israeli startup specializing in aesthetic medical devices, reported that its second-quarter revenue was $21 million and gross profits of $15 million.

The patented technology detects concealed objects on people while walking, enabling fast, contactless security screening in crowded places like stadiums, events, transit hubs, airports, and malls.

The system uses biometric authentication, encryption, and zero-knowledge proofs to guarantee the integrity of votes, allowing voters to independently validate their ballots.

Led by ASPER-HUJI Innovate, the university’s innovation and entrepreneurship center, the prize celebrates startups transforming academic research into real-world solutions.

Youth Unistream helps teens develop ventures year-round and during summer. Around 100 ventures from across Israel competed for the "Venture of the Year" title.

“When rockets are flying and the world questions Israel’s stability, we keep doing what we do best: connecting Israel to the world,” chairman Avi Balashnikov said.
