A new court hearing examined whether Yonatan Urich, a key suspect in the "Qatargate" case, should face lighter release conditions amid allegations of leaked documents.

Yonatan Urich's detention terms expired on Sunday. He was required to appear for questioning if called, forbidden from leaving the country until August 12.

Deputy Commissioner Momi Meshulam is currently in Serbia conducting a legal deposition involving Srulik Einhorn, a former Netanyahu advisor.

Walla reported that both the Israel Police and the Justice Ministry have refrained from formally approaching Serbian authorities to advance the deposition request.
