Venezuela’s emergency decree orders police to begin nationwide arrests of anyone accused of supporting the US attack that ousted President Nicolas Maduro.

The Vance family was not home during the incident, as they had returned to Washington, Vance confirmed on X/Twitter

The raid during which the attack occurred was part of an ongoing push by Israeli law enforcement to crack down on various crimes, including illegal immigration and illegal weapon possession.

Beersheba District Court President Benny Sagi was killed in a car crash on Highway 6, with police investigating the incident and leaders across Israel mourning his death.

Those set to be charged are Marad Hariri, 41, from Umm el-Fahm; Nabil Arian, 31, from Arara; Yosef Hadidja, 33, from Kalansuwa; Mohammed Akel, 37, from Arara; and Murtada Akel, 26, also from Arara.

The 85-year-old survivor's home in Jaffa had been broken into the previous week, and several items were stolen. During the theft, the woman's dog, Charlie, went missing.

Swiss officials determined the event was not an attack, saying the explosion was caused by a fire and was not intentional.

The attacker detonated himself while being searched by the patrol after arousing suspicion, a security source told state-owned Ikhbariya TV.

Over the course of the day, motorcycle patrols wrote 108 traffic tickets and confiscated two ATVs and a dirt bike, which were transferred for forfeiture proceedings.
