New data shows defense-tech firms dominating Israel’s hi-tech investment, with start-up funding tripling year-on-year.

Rafael currently produces the system’s interceptors at one of its plants in northern Israel, and last year a missile production line also began operating in the US in partnership with Raytheon.

According to the Government Companies Authority's valuations, IAI could be listed at a valuation of 100 billion shekels, following a surge in 2025 sales to 7.8 billion dollars.

Sri Lanka is upgrading the five Kfir jets that it has under a $50 million deal with IAI. The planes received an advanced cockpit, a new mission computer, and additional avionics improvements.

Mossad chiefs Tamir Pardo, Yossi Cohen, and recently retired chief David Barnea all had a hand in advancing the program, without which it might not have reached the finish line. 

The partnership comes as the DOW increases investments in loitering munitions to expand capabilities to meet modern battlefield demands. 

Among the winners are a system that was key during the Operation Roaring Lion against Iran, a classified Mossad asset, and the breakthroughs in the Ofek satellite array.

The latest deal will focus on advancing technological capabilities while simultaneously strengthening the strategic ties between Germany and Israel, Oliver Burkhard, CEO of TKMS, said in a statement.

Further, all the systems are based on a standard container configuration and can be deployed, replaced, or reconfigured “within a matter of hours” if the situation calls for it.
