The case for strengthening our partnership should be made now, when the evidence for its effectiveness is impossible to ignore. If not now, when?

The deputy foreign minister said that the US "has not made their position clear" regarding nuclear talks, as the Trump administration said they wish to resume negotiations.

While Iran’s nuclear infrastructure remains largely intact following Israeli strikes, deterrence has been temporarily reestablished, creating a window for a diplomatic initiative.

"We have taken note with great concern of the various statements concerning a considerable increase in enrichment capacity, and in particular, the establishment of new infrastructure."

If Trump blocks Israel from attacking Tehran's nuclear sites without resolving the threat, Jerusalem will miss a rare opportunity to eliminate the Iranian nuclear threat.

Iran is "exploiting the time to modify nuclear facilities in ways that could diminish the impact of a potential military strike on those sites and their outcomes,” sources said.

Iran appears ready to retaliate if it faces too much pushback. It says this could be “proportionate,” although that leaves many options open.

One official told Axios that Israel made it clear to the US that they wouldn't surprise the Trump administration with any attacks on Iran without informing the US first. 

The interim step, proposed by special envoy Witkoff, could allow Iran to temporarily enrich uranium, though the specific details remain largely unclear.
