With another fresh US decision-maker defending terror, does America still live by the sentiment of: ‘ Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free?’

Both countries are on the United States' "Level 4: Do not Travel" list for citizens. Lebanon's Level 4 status was issued on June 5, while Syria's was issued on July 8. 

The event is being organized by the Israel Festival, the Aner Shapiro Association (also known as the Aner Foundation), and JDC-Israel.

Defense officials confirmed on Sunday that opportunities to strike Hamas military wing operatives had been missed over the past week because of government policy.

Suleiman Maswadeh, a commentator for Channel 13 News, addressed the developments with 103FM, warning that even the current statement does not necessarily indicate Trump's future direction.

According to the Axios report, the US and the mediators in talks are demanding that Hamas begin the process of disarmament.
