In Denmark, drones halted flights at Copenhagen's main airport on Monday for several hours.

The film stars had been told they were being considered for a part by a major, unnamed film director and were asked to send audition tapes along with several forms of personal data.

In a statement, WhatsApp said that fewer than 200 users worldwide had potentially been impacted.

Mashriky would target low security websites, often creating pages with messages about his "religious and political ideology."

A statement purporting to be from a hacking group called Silent Crow said it had carried out the operation together with a Belarusian group called Cyberpartisans BY.

“The department was minimally impacted due to its extensive use of Microsoft M365 cloud and its advanced cybersecurity systems," said a department spokesperson in an email.

The outages, which started on June 24, caused a smiling image of US President Donald Trump to appear across monitors on campus. 

Hackers previously distributed a batch of Trump's emails to the media ahead of the 2024 US elections.
