Fathers were more likely to report breastfeeding at eight weeks if they wanted the child's mother to breastfeed, as opposed to those who didn't want the mother to breastfeed or had no opinion.

Father have a unique opportunity to model positive behaviors for their sons and help break the cycle of toxic masculinity that can lead to abusive behavior. 

This rare phenomenon is called heteropaternal superfecundation. It's quite common in cats and dogs, but it's rare in humans. Only a small handful of cases have been recorded.
