Noam Party rebrands itself ahead of elections, Maoz calls to 'strengthen right-wing bloc'

The party, led by MK Avi Maoz since its founding in 2019, opposes homosexuality, the LGBTQ community in general, and pushes for expanding Jewish settlements in the West Bank.

Police investigating suspicious object left outside of MK Avi Maoz's home

Israel Police bomb squads responded to the scene of the incident, inspected the suspicious object, and took it for further examination.

Avi Maoz: Chief Rabbinate control over prayer is the only way to protect Western Wall - interview

The bill seeks to grant the Rabbinate authority to determine prayer arrangements at the Western Wall. It also proposes that the Chief Rabbinate would be considered the representative of Judaism.

Knesset advances bill granting Chief Rabbinate authority over Western Wall prayer

The bill passed by a margin of 56-47 and will now be discussed in Knesset committee meetings. It will still need to undergo three more plenum readings to become a law.
