National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir and Israel Prison Service Chief Commissioner Kobi Yaakobi decided to place her under increased supervision following Sunday's feared suicide attempt.

The defendant was allegedly contacted via Telegram last year and paid 12,000 shekels to carry out tasks for an Iranian agent.

He was apprehended along with another suspect who also attempted to assault the arresting officers.

The individual, who is a COVID denier, was convicted of terrorism after encouraging a violent uprising against the British government.

"A few days after the war began, I decided to launch missiles at Tel Aviv in order to stop the war," the cell commander reportedly said.
