The fashion website Terminal X announces the exclusive entry of the iconic British fashion brand TOPSHOP to Israel. For the first time in years, it will be possible to obtain the brand in the country. As remembered, Topshop stores in Israel opened in 2003 and closed in 2021. At the time of closure, the brand had nine branches in Israel, which were operated by the Golf Group. The closure was explained as part of the sale of the British chain to ASOS, after Arcadia Group, its parent company – went bankrupt.

In May 2019, the popular brand announced the closure of all its branches in the United States (11 in total) and another 23 branches in the United Kingdom. The dramatic move adds to about 200 stores that have already closed in the United Kingdom in the past three years. Besides Topshop, the sub-brands Miss Selfridge and Evans will also soon close 25 stores. Ian Grabiner, the owner of Arcadia Group that held the chain, said at the time to BBC that "This is a difficult but necessary step" and added that he hopes this step will lead the chain to success in the future. The store closures came after the affair that shook the brand a year earlier. In 2018, allegations were raised against Topshop owner Philip Green regarding sexual harassment. At that time, Beyoncé announced that she was cutting ties with the chain, where she marketed the Ivy Park sportswear line designed by her for about two years.

Already this week, the Terminal X website (with fast “from today to tomorrow” delivery with a courier to the home) launched a first summer collection for women by the brand, which will serve as the opening shot for the exclusive collaboration. In the coming months, new collections will be launched regularly, which will strengthen the brand’s presence in Israel and bring the London energy and style to the local audience.

The collections of TOPSHOP tell a complete fashion story, from statement dresses to precise basic items such as a perfect white shirt, while combining timeless design with creative innovation.
