Zaguri Empire ice cream, Golda and HOT

A rather brilliant collaboration, crossing worlds of content, gave birth to a winter box that is both icy and hot.

The Zaguri Empire ice cream was conceived in the offices of Golda and HOT to mark the launch of the new season of the Israeli series, but unlike many similar moves, here they didn’t stop at the starting point, and invested in the packaging, the experience and also the thing itself. The ice cream, of course.

The result is a celebration that aspires to naturally connect “Israeli culture, family togetherness and local stories,” with flavors inspired by the characters and the world of the series – a golden “Zaguri Empire,” based on vanilla and honey and feuilletine crust; a speckled “Zaguri Shoponi” with flavors of caramelized sesame and Moroccan cookies; and also the black “Zaguri the Spell,” which combines salted chocolate and Oreo crumble. It’s sweet, and it probably could have been a little less sweet, but everything else is exciting and sweeping, and in the end this box too is emptied even before the binge.

Friends Meal, McDonald’s

A similar crossover, on a much more powerful magnitude, brings together the fast-food giant and the fast-binge giant for a tasty winter edition that stands wonderfully on its own.

The collaboration between McDonald’s and Friends will star in dozens of countries, and will also land here the legendary leather couch (in five branches – Rothschild Tel Aviv, BIG Fashion Glilot, Ramat Gan National Park, Grand Canyon Haifa and Ad Halom Ashdod).

At the same time, across the country two meals will be offered, in a limited edition of course – nuggets and marinara sauce with a large fries and a large drink, as well as a McRoyal hamburger with large fries and a large drink – with a dedicated box and one of the characters. Price: NIS 68.

Gluten-free nuggets, Tivall

The Israeli plant-based brand leverages a popular series of its own with two new additions, and necessary ones.

The new nuggets from Tivall highlight a gluten-free format without red labels, and offer two flavors – “vegetarian” (without specific dominance, with gentle garlic seasoning and a certain presence of potatoes) and corn (54%), familiar and disappearing fast. The story here, however, is the absence of gluten. Or rather, the fact that you don’t notice the absence of gluten. It’s crispy, it’s tasty and it definitely meets the mission.

Assorted halva snack pack, Achva

The diligent Israeli company brings together new flavors and launches a halva pack with something for everyone. Mainly for us.

Achva’s new box includes 11 individual bars (22 grams each, and a total of 220 grams) in espresso-hazelnut and pistachio flavors with no added sugar. The base is still 50% sesame and 14 grams of protein per unit, and the new versions highlight a bitter and mature aroma, sweetness relatively balanced for the genre, and above all the option for measured portions, in a format that preserves freshness and texture.
