Ronen Chen, one of the designers most identified with Israeli aesthetics, is reopening his store in TLV MALL with a new concept that feels more like an architectural space than a fashion boutique. After months of planning and an investment of approximately NIS 600,000, the store, whose size has doubled to almost 100 square meters, aims to offer an experience of design, softness, and precise femininity—just like Chen’s clothes themselves.

A design that is an experience

Ronen Chen’s new store, opened on October 26 on the entrance floor of TLV MALL, presents a refreshing approach to the shopping experience—one that draws inspiration from the worlds of architecture and art no less than it does from fashion. The new concept was born out of a collaboration between multidisciplinary designer Ohad Benit and interior designer Romy Silber Benit, who approached the project with thoughts about the essence of the brand and the customers who identify with it.

Benit explains: “We approached the project with thoughts about what the Ronen Chen brand is and who its customers are. The design is based on a meeting between geometric precision and material softness, with a minimalist language, natural materials, and soft color tones that create a sense of calm and balance. It’s an experience that resonates with the quiet luxury trend—one that prefers quality over showiness.”

Not just a store—a home

Ronen Chen himself describes the new space as “a large and inviting home,” a phrase that perfectly sums up the new approach. “I am happy to open a store with a concept born from a collaboration with a designer I deeply appreciate. He knew how to capture my connection to architecture and art, and the result is a place that contains not only my collections but also the other brands in the group—and especially the energy of the women who visit it,” says Chen.

The new store includes a dedicated area for the collections of OMä, a wide display of Vagabond shoes, and additional footwear collections, alongside unique corners for Limited Edition collections and special collaborations. This is a modular and dynamic store that allows adaptation and change for seasonal collections and shifting needs throughout the year—not just a store, but a living space.

Between art and fashion

For Ohad and Romy Benit, the connection between architecture and commerce is at the heart of their work. The store at TLV MALL embodies this approach—not just another commercial space but a place that evokes emotion, where every wall, shelf, and shade was designed with thought about the way a customer enters, touches, experiences, and is impressed.

This approach continues the line that Ronen Chen has led for more than two decades—clean, accessible, feminine design that starts with the garment and extends to the overall experience surrounding it. The new store is a tangible expression of these values and proof that even in an age of digital shopping, a physical experience can still be relevant, inspiring, and truly personal.
