LeBron James Edition, Hennessy V.S

The prestigious French brand from LVMH increases its presence in the worlds (and halls) of the NBA with a sparkling collaboration and a limited-edition collector’s item inspired by LeBron James. The marketing stunt that annoyed the basketball world could, of course, have been avoided.

Hennessy V.S is a blend aged in new French oak barrels and carries a prominent fruity profile, almond and brown sugar aromas, a round and rich sip, and a sweet vanilla finish — a holistic drinking experience that culminates in a swish.

The bottles and packages themselves celebrate the connection even more with purple-orange colors, an illustrated portrait, and an homage to “Bras Armé,” Hennessy’s historic armed hand, which this time also holds the sleeve and crown of the American king. Price: NIS 149.

Soda Cans, Nørdic Mist

The sparkling brand, literally of course, from Coca-Cola expands its shelves with a most natural new addition to the family.

Nørdic Mist soda cans are marketed in a four-pack (250 ml per can) and complement bottles of a similar volume that have already made a good name for themselves — and rightly so. The bubbles are on the strong side of the scale, the taste is good, and the connection to alcohol mixes or simply to ice is excellent.

Caramelized Milk Chocolate, Splendid

The premium brand from Elite (which itself functions as the confectionery house of the Strauss Group) expands its shelves and series with a double and intriguing launch.

The two new Splendid bars are based on caramelized milk chocolate and offer caramel cream with hazelnut pieces and pistachio-flavored cream with almond pieces. The result, as expected, is excellent. The chocolate is high-quality (36% cocoa) and delicious on its own, the flavors are delicate and not aggressive, and the combination is elegant, not super-sweet, highlighting richness and creaminess.

Jalapeño-Flavored Burger, Beyond Meat

The global meat substitute brand lands in Israel, with the help of Diplomat, with a new addition to refrigerators — and from there straight to the frying pan.

Beyond Meat’s jalapeño-flavored burger contains 16 grams of protein and boasts ideal spiciness. The patty (100 grams) is, of course, plant-based and maintains a successful “meaty” texture, good taste, and smoky aroma, as well as that promised kick — peppery and distinct, but not overly spicy.
