A long-standing passion and an old dream led Alon Shaul to one of the most intriguing openings and realizations in recent times, far beyond the boundaries of Pardes Hanna-Karkur.
The promise: La Musée (the museum in French) is a patisserie that relies on its name and regards its desserts as true works of art, while aiming to connect the legendary Francophile culture with Israeli innovation and local producers.
What else? Shaul, 27, entered the kitchen already in his youth, continued to fantasize even as a fighter in the Navy’s bee unit, and has now finally met his destiny.
What do you eat here? Individual alfajores dessert and a combination of lemon, basil, and olive oil, pistachio and red fruit tartlet, and a passion fruit-raspberry éclair with a yellow glaze, but also elaborate sandwiches, fresh salads, sweet and savory pastries, gluten-free temptations, and vegan stars.
What do you drink here? A direct collaboration with Telem Winery pours wine and mixes cocktails throughout the day, with emphasis on happy hour and customized offerings of a cheese platter (including a vegan version) and patisserie desserts that also love to drink.
