Loacker Wafer Factory, Wolt Market

A red-and-light-blue, Israeli-Italian collaboration lands in delivery boxes with a particularly sweet summer treat.

The Loacker Wafer Factory kit is designed to recreate (via Wolt Market) the making of wafers at home, of course. It includes the original crispy layers (273 g) and hazelnut spread (290 g), a designed apron, and an option for a personal touch that’s all about fun-filled mischief. It’s childlike in a good way, cute and sweet, and pure summer vacation. Price: NIS 79.90.

Doritos Sichuan and Tikka Masala Noodles, Strauss

The energetic snack brand from Strauss welcomes the heatwave with a wide smile and a double launch that’s all about summer.

Doritos’ hot-season edition includes two flavors – Sichuan noodles and Tikka Masala – looking to the Far East but blending nicely with the Middle East. They’re a bit “Indian,” a bit “Chinese,” a bit “ethnic,” and mostly a bold, cheeky flavor mix, in the best sense. From there to total emptying of the bags (70 g), the way is short, even without suitcases.

Tomato Sauces, Prinir

Tomato Sauces, Prinir

The veteran Israeli company aligns with the challenges of summer and vacation time, offering a home solution for cooking – or at least for the start of cooking.

Prinir’s move, under the branding “From the Field to the Plate,” includes a new series of three tomato-based sauces – for pizza, shakshuka, and Bolognese. The promise of using only Israeli sun-ripened tomatoes provides great added value, as does the avoidance of preservatives.

The result is excellent. The pizza sauce is mild and can suit young tasters, while also open to personal enhancements. The shakshuka sauce benefits from onion and pepper, Mediterranean vibes, and chunks of tomato – requiring only eggs and a little patience. The Bolognese base significantly shortens the process, with a carrot-onion-garlic (and tomato, of course) combination just waiting for meat (or even without it – with zucchini, for example – in an equally excellent vegetarian version). Price: NIS 9.90.

Sweet Rice Cakes, Drizzilicious

The restrained dessert brand lands in Israel from the United States with the help of Shestowitz, immediately targeting somewhat bored local shelves and categories needing a kick.

Drizzilicious’ snack series offers rice cakes unafraid of a little indulgence – tiny desserts to hit the spot, with a general aim of doing both. Superfood talk (whole grains, quinoa, chia, flaxseed), calorie count (90 in 21 units), a respectable “free from” list (gluten-free, no artificial coloring, no preservatives) – yet also a call for indulgence, insisting on the dignity of snacking, with frosting and drizzle on top.

The first batch includes three flavors – cookies & cream, vanilla “birthday cake,” and s’mores – and manages to fulfill much of its promise. In a world where you know it’s not a grand dessert, the satisfaction is complete. Price: NIS 19.90–21.90 for a 113 g package.

Candies, Chocolate, and Biscuits, Yogeta

The veteran candy brand boosts sweetness and expands tempting options with cheerful summer launches – and even cheerier arrivals.

Joining Yogeta’s “house of brands,” first come two series from Belgium and Germany – thin chocolate sheets disappearing quickly in four flavors (milk chocolate with salted caramel, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate with hazelnut pieces, NIS 17.9–19.90), and biscuit bars filled with milk cream and chocolate-flavored cream (NIS 9.90).

At the same time, the company launches a fun summer edition in the form of gummy candies shaped like pizza (NIS 2 per unit), hamburger, and hot dog in a bun (NIS 14.90 per 100 g) – fast-food hits in their original form, and hits in this format too.
