Summer Collection, Nespresso
The global coffee giant is shaking off the last bits of coolness and launching into a sunny, hot season. Sizzling, actually.
Nespresso’s summer collection, naturally a limited edition, is based on a life on the move and a well-known to-go craving. It includes a cold coffee blend with pistachio-vanilla flavor based on Arabica beans from Ethiopia and Indonesia, intended for refreshing indulgent drinks (NIS 30.70 per sleeve), a coconut-vanilla flavored cold coffee (NIS 30.70 per sleeve) that works well as a base for a shake or as a tropical-Caribbean start to a cocktail, an Active blend from the Coffee+ series with almond-vanilla flavor and added vitamin B6 (same price), an Ice Leggero cold coffee blend containing double espresso (NIS 28.20 per sleeve), and a rather gorgeous accessories line—machines, frothers, cups and ice trays, portable mugs, and bags in excellent and photogenic pastel colors.
Magnum Hazelnut and Nougat, Unilever
Summer has just begun, and the heat is in full swing—mainly because of this anticipated seasonal edition of the hot-and-cold cone.
It’s a hazelnut-flavored Magnum with nougat-flavored ripple, cream ice cream, a necessary milk chocolate disk on top, and hazelnut pieces inside. If you read this and didn’t get what’s going on—meaning sweet indulgence, textures, and the sounds of chocolate breaking—something in your system might be off. If you read this and didn’t run to the nearest freezer, something in your system is definitely off.
Cocktails in a Can, Schweppes
The alcoholic series from Yafora celebrates a happy year on the shelves and is now expanding its offerings and formats.
Schweppes’ cocktail cans continue to offer a great, ready-to-drink beverage. They currently come in three flavors—Mojito, Lemon-Arak, and Rum-Watermelon—with a sensible 5% alcohol content, a good 330 ml quantity, and that same drinkability and mixology vibe. From the fridge, over ice, or mixed—everything works here.
Tic Tac Two, Ferrero
The popular candy brand dives headfirst into the summer pool and launches a double edition of flavors, in double the size, and with double the excitement.
Tic Tac by Ferrero does what its name suggests—two layers, each a flavor of its own, together forming a cute and refreshing combo. The launch currently includes two combinations: Fruity and tangy raspberry-lemon, and a clever mint mix—one part subtle, one part strong. Honestly? We didn’t know we needed this until now.
Sugar-Free Cocoa Drink Powder, Skinny Pasta
The considerate local brand expands its shelf space and options with a pampering box that doesn’t forget what’s important to us.
Skinny Choco (by Skinny Pasta) is, as the name suggests, a powder for preparing a sugar-free cocoa-flavored drink, based on erythritol and reduced-fat Dutch cocoa powder. It contains 7 calories per teaspoon and has excellent solubility in drinks, resulting in a texture that doesn’t feel like a substitute. From there, it’s a short path to cakes and desserts, shakes, and milkshakes—whatever the kitchen and household demand. Price: NIS 29.90 for a 400g box.
