Bella Hadid’s mother confirmed on Thursday that her daughter was struggling with a Lyme Disease flare-up after the supermodel posted photos of herself hooked up to medical equipment on Instagram.

Yolanda Hadid shared that watching Hadid struggle with Lyme disease "has cut the deepest core of hopelessness inside me."

Hadid published the photos on Wednesday with the caption, "I’m sorry I always go MIA I love you guys."

"As you will understand watching my Bella struggle in silence, has cut the deepest core of hopelessness inside me," former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast member Yolanda wrote on her own social media. "The invisible disability of chronic neurological Lyme disease is hard to explain or understand for anyone."

"You are relentless and courageous. No child is supposed to suffer in their body with an incurable chronic disease," Yolanda added. "I admire your bravery and your willingness to keep fighting for health despite the failing protocols and countless setbacks you have faced. There simply aren’t words big enough for the darkness, the pain, and the unknown hell you’ve lived through since your diagnosis in 2013."

The Hadid family's pro-Palestinian comments

The Hadid family has become known for their vocal support for Palestinians, which has often been accused of crossing into antisemitism.

The supermodel has previously shared pro-Hamas propaganda content suggesting the hostages were treated well during captivity, despite testimonies and material evidence proving otherwise.

She also criticized Israel for holding security prisoners under the age of 18, claiming Israel was the only party to do so, while Hamas still held murdered infant hostages Kfir and Ariel Bibas.
