Iranian telephone numbers spammed Israeli phones with text messages on Monday. Israel is warning recipients not to reply.
The messages read "the Doors of the embassies of the Islamic Republic of I.R.A.N. are open to you."
The Israel National Cyber Directorate said there is no phone or account hacking involved, and that it is important to ignore the messages and not respond.
"Block the sender, mark it as spam, and do not pass the message along further," it said.
This is a developing story.
