The IDF struck Hezbollah terror targets, including launch sites and other military infrastructure from which the group’s members have recently operated, in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the military said on Wednesday morning.

“The presence of the attacked launch sites constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon,” the military stated, adding that it would continue to strike at such threats and thwart Hezbollah’s attempts to reestablish itself.

Earlier, a correspondent for the Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese outlet Al Mayadeen reported that Israeli jets had struck in the Tebna area of southern Lebanon’s Sidon District as well as Wadi Houmin.

IDF strikes Hezbollah terrorists as group tries to rearm

Previously, on Sunday, the IDF struck two Hezbollah terrorists near Yater in southern Lebanon, killing one who was involved in attempts to rehabilitate the group’s military infrastructure in the area, the military announced the following day.

According to the IDF, the targeted operative was linked to efforts to restore capabilities in southern Lebanon after previous Israeli strikes. The military said such activity threatens Israeli communities in the North and contravenes cross-border understandings.
