Four family members were indicted for violently assaulting security guards at EMMS Nazareth Hospital after being denied entry to the emergency room, Israel Police announced in a statement on Tuesday.
The police received the initial report on June 30 around 10:30 p.m. about a fight in the emergency room. Two security guards were injured by the suspects who fled the scene.
Suspects arrested
Police officers from the Northern District arrived at the scene and immediately began collecting evidence to clarify the situation.
The police then determined that four male family members were denied entry due to overcrowding in the emergency room, and they then assaulted the security guards, injuring them.
The four were arrested after being interrogated, and an indictment was filed against them by the Northern District's Prosecutor's Office at the Nazareth District Court, according to Israel Police.
