A fourth man believed to be part of an international Hamas terror cell was reportedly arrested in London on Monday.

The arrest of Mohammed A., a British citizen, comes after the arrest of three other men in Germany at the start of October. Mohammad A. is said to have met with a Hamas agent in Berlin in July and August, where he was handed weapons to be transported to Austria.

According to exclusive reporting by ITV, Mohammad A. is the son of a high-ranking Hamas official.

He appeared before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday, and has been remanded in custody.

Last month, three men - German citizen Abed Al G., Lebanese-born Wael F. M. and German citizen Ahmad I. - were arrested in Berlin by officials of the Federal Criminal Police Office and were charged with membership of a foreign terrorist organisation and preparation of a serious act of violence endangering the state.

Between 60,000 and 100,000 protesters took to Berlin on Saturday afternoon in what is believed to be the largest ever pro-Gaza demonstration in Germany to date on September 28th, 2025.

According to the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, the three men are foreign operatives of Hamas, and were involved in procuring firearms and ammunition for the organization from Germany since the summer of 2025 at the latest.

Weapons for attacks on Israeli, Jewish institutions

The weapons were intended to be used by Hamas for murder attacks on Israeli or Jewish institutions in Germany.

Alongside the arrests, German authorities seized various weapons, including an AK-47 assault rifle and several pistols, and ammunition in considerable quantities.

Hamas released a statement denying the accusations: "The claim that the detainees have ties to Hamas is without any basis and aims to tarnish the reputation of the movement and undermine the sympathy of the German people for our Palestinian people."

Israel's Mossad claimed that it played a role in the arrests. “The arrest of the cell members was made possible thanks to close cooperation between the Mossad for Intelligence and Special Operations and the security and intelligence forces in Germany,” Israel's Prime Minister's Office announced.
