As the calendar year draws to a close, Explora Journeys, the luxury brand of the MSC Group, is offering a series of festive cruises aboard the mega yachts EXPLORA I and EXPLORA II, promising a luxurious and relaxing holiday experience in tropical islands.
The cruises will take place throughout November, December, and early January, with stops at vibrant destinations known for their wild nature, local culture, and historical sites. Each voyage will feature holiday-themed activities and events – from traditional festive meals to gingerbread house workshops, open-air movie screenings under the stars, mixology sessions, live performances, and festive decorations adorning the yachts themselves.
The cruises range from 7 to 8 nights, and include transoceanic journeys. Among the itineraries:
Christmas Cruise (EXPLORA I):
Departs December 22 from Miami, with stops in Ocean Cay (MSC’s private marine reserve), Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas), Spanish Town (Virgin Gorda), Marigot (St. Martin), and concludes in San Juan.
Thanksgiving Cruise (EXPLORA II):
Departs November 27 from Miami, with stops in Charlotte Amalie, Terre-de-Haut (Guadeloupe), Bridgetown (Barbados), Fort-de-France (Martinique), Basseterre (St. Kitts and Nevis), and concludes in San Juan.
New Year’s Eve Cruise (EXPLORA II):
Departs December 29 from San Juan, with stops in Road Bay (Anguilla), Cruz Bay (St. John), Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic), and Key West (Florida). The highlight of the cruise: a festive fireworks display over San Juan on New Year’s Eve.
