A Palestinian was killed by IDF fire during overnight clashes with extreme right-wing activists in the village of Hajja, located near Kalkilya in the West Bank.
According to the IDF, right-wing activists from the nearby Sha'ar Oz farm flew a drone over the area of Hajja, which the residents of the village threw stones at, causing it to crash.
The IDF stated the incident was under investigation, stating the military "carried out a suspect arrest procedure, which included firing into the air and then firing at key instigators."
In response, 30 right-wing activists entered the village. A confrontation developed at the scene, and stones were thrown from both sides.
IDF soldiers from the Nahal Brigade entered the village in order to extract the activists, during which the military said the force was attacked with stones and fired at those throwing them.
On Sunday night, the PA-run WAFA reported that three Palestinians were wounded during the clash, including two who were in serious condition after being shot.
WAFA reported that all three were transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
The clashes follow an increase in settler violence in the past weeks against Palestinians, the most significant of which is the ongoing situation at Kusra in the northern West Bank.
In mid-August, dozens of settler extremists clashed with the IDF near Kusra after the military evacuated an outpost that was set up in the area.

Most recently, Israel Police has arrested two Israeli teenagers on suspicion of being involved in the recent attacks on Kusra.
According to the police, the first suspect, a 19-year-old from the Shomron area, was arrested first. During a search of his vehicle, police found several suspicious items, including an airsoft rifle, a knife, a penknife, and tear gas.
Later, the police also located the second suspect, an 18-year-old from the Jordan Valley area. The 18-year-old was in active mandatory IDF service.
