Extremist settlers reportedly set fire to and vandalized several cars belonging to Palestinians in the West Bank, spraying the word "vengeance" on nearby structures, Army Radio reported on Tuesday.
Security forces reportedly broke up the incident but failed to carry out any arrests for the damage.
The outpost and recent clashes
Army Radio journalist Doron Kadosh reported that three suspects entered the Palestinian village and that it followed the evacuation of an illegal outpost the day prior.
Plans to evacuate the outpost last week were reportedly postponed by hilltop youth.
Security sources told Army Radio that this outpost has been a source of clashes recently and that they received reports that hilltop youth were planning to attack Palestinians in the area, leading to evacuation for security purposes.
Reports previously surfaced of dozens of Palestinian vehicles set alight near the outpost.
This is a developing story.
