On golf courses around the world, Laetitia Beck stands out – not just for her skill or her historic accomplishments, but for something far more powerful: her unwavering pride in her identity and the values she carries with her, quite literally, on her back.

As a professional Israeli golfer competing on the Epson Tour, Beck is no stranger to pressure. But alongside the challenges of competition, she also confronts a different kind of adversity – rising antisemitism and hostility toward Israel. And yet, she refuses to stay silent. Each time she steps onto the green, her golf bag speaks volumes.

Emblazoned on it are the logos of two Israeli organizations that embody resilience, healing, and hope: Brothers for Life, which supports wounded IDF veterans, and the Shalva National Center, which cares for children and adults with disabilities in Israel.

“I’ve had the honor of collaborating with Shalva during my professional golf season this year,” the 33-year-old Beck says.

“I proudly carry the Shalva logo on my golf bag, which often sparks conversations and gives me the opportunity to share the incredible work the organization does for children and families in Israel.”

This act of quiet defiance and steadfast advocacy is not for show – it comes from a deeply personal place.
“In addition to Shalva, I also support the organization Brothers for Life,” she continues.

“I have many close supporters involved with their work, and each year when the soldiers visit Miami, I host golf clinics for them – something I find incredibly meaningful and humbling.”

Born in Belgium and raised in Israel, Beck made history as the first Israeli golfer to qualify for the LPGA Tour in 2015. A standout athlete at Duke University, she helped lead her team to victory at the 2014 NCAA Championship.

Since then, she has gone on to represent Israel in the Olympics, the Maccabiah Games, and various international tournaments.

This past year has been particularly momentous for her. Beck secured her first professional tournament win on the Epson Tour, and in a stroke of magic, celebrated her first hole-in-one at a professional event.

A sense of purpose

But beyond the medals and achievements, it’s her sense of purpose that sets her apart.

“Throughout my journey, I’ve always been passionate about proudly representing Israel and the Jewish people,” she said. “I see my platform as an opportunity to inspire young Jewish athletes and encourage others to embrace and take pride in their Jewish identity.”

In a time when many shrink under the weight of public pressure, Laetitia Beck rises. With every swing, she tells a different story – of courage, compassion, and an unshakable commitment to those who need her voice.

Whether she’s hosting wounded soldiers on the green or raising awareness for children with disabilities, Beck’s impact reaches far beyond the fairway. She isn’t just playing for a title; she’s playing for a future filled with light, dignity, and unity.
