It began with an unprovoked massacre on October 7, but how quickly the world forgets and turns its back. International pressure on Israel was swift - pressure to halt operations in defense of her citizens. Pressure that no other country would be asked to tolerate under similar circumstances, if indeed such a situation was to exist in any country other than Israel.

But President Donald Trump has throughout, remained a steadfast supporter of Israel's right to defend herself, her people, her right to exist.

Dr. Michael Mirilashvili, President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, together with the leadership of the Congress, expresses deep gratitude to President Donald J. Trump and the American people for their steadfast and principled support in the just struggle against radical Islamism, international terrorism, and the growing nuclear threat posed by the Iranian regime.

Today, as the Middle East stands on the brink of a major military escalation, it is more important than ever to preserve hope — hope for peace, for stability, and for a future built on strength and shared values.

The massacre of October 7 shocked the entire world. In its immediate aftermath, Israel was met with a global wave of solidarity — but that wave quickly receded. The tragedy was forgotten far too soon, and Israel has since come under unprecedented international pressure.

In these challenging times, only courage, moral clarity, and the willingness to make responsible and decisive choices must guide the free world in its stand against terrorism and nuclear blackmail.

The path toward peace, cooperation, and prosperity may be difficult — but it is not beyond reach. The Jewish people worldwide, and the citizens of Israel, are ready to walk that path with resilience, faith, and an unwavering commitment to dialogue and justice.

When the safety of the free world is at stake, even the Nobel Peace Prize falls short as a fitting recognition for the resolve and strength with which the President of the United States confronts the grave threat posed by the Iranian regime.
