In three incidents on Sunday, the Israel Air Force targeted terror suspects in northern Gaza who attempted to cross the Yellow Line and approach IDF troops, the military said.

In one of the incidents, despite warning shots from IDF troops in the area, individuals who had gathered near the Yellow Line crossed the boundary and approached the soldiers, posing what the military described as an immediate threat.

In two additional incidents in northern Gaza, the IDF identified two more suspects who crossed the Yellow Line and approached the soldiers, again posing an immediate threat, the military said.

In all three incidents, the IAF struck the suspects who had crossed the line.

“IDF troops in the Southern Command remain deployed in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat,” the IDF concluded.

Repeated Yellow Line breaches follow Hamas leader killing

These strikes follow numerous similar incidents of suspects attempting to cross the Yellow Line since the start of the ceasefire in October.

Earlier in the week, the military conducted several operations against terrorist threats attempting to cross into IDF-controlled territory in the Gaza Strip.

These incidents have become more frequent following Israel's killing of top Hamas official Ra’ad Sa’ad last week.
