An indictment was filed in the Beit She'an Juvenile Court on Wednesday against a 15-year-old boy who broke into two synagogues in the city.
The teen stole approximately 4,500 shekels in cash from the first synagogue.
A complaint was filed about the incident, while led to investigators tracing the identity of the suspect, and linking him to another break-in at a different synagogue in the city.
The indictment was filed after a police investigation, and a request has been filed for his detention until the legal proceedings are completed.

Three individuals were arrested in January after allegedly stealing three Torah scrolls from a synagogue in Rishon Lezion.
In a similar event, three Torah scrolls were stolen from a synagogue in Jerusalem in January 2022.
