Extremist settlers attacked the West Bank village of Surif overnight on Saturday, leaving three Palestinians slightly hurt, according to Army Radio.
The extremists set fire to buildings and cars and attacked residents with clubs and tear gas, in addition to spray-painting threatening graffiti on buildings, the report said.
IDF troops were dispatched to the area shortly after the attack to search for suspects and collect evidence. The troops located the burned vehicles and graffiti, but no arrests in connection with the attack have been made.
Israel Police opened an investigation into the incident.
Investigations into settler extremism result in arrests
On Wednesday, security officials arrested an Israeli resident of the West Bank for allegedly participating in a similar violent extremist attack in Huwara in June.
In that attack, several Palestinians were hospitalized for treatment of injuries inflicted by the extremist settlers, many of whom were reportedly wearing masks to hide their identities.
On Monday, the IDF deployed two extra battalions to the West Bank in an effort to curb recent escalation in extremist settler violence and Palestinian terrorist attacks.
