Nadir Adri from Ashdod, one of the Israelis injured in the serious traffic accident involving a tourist minibus and a bus on May 13 in La Chorrera, Panama, died from his injuries on Thursday, bringing the Israeli death toll from the incident to two.

Adri's funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. in Ashdod.

Local Panamanian media reported that the tourist minibus struck the rear of a bus traveling toward Panama City that had stopped on the side of the road to pick up passengers.

Noa Yitzhak, a 22-year-old dance teacher from Ma’ale Adumim who had been traveling through South America, had been killed in the crash, while four Israelis, including Adri, had been injured.

ZAKA said its emergency hotline had recieved a report about the crash, in which an Israeli citizen was killed at the scene, and several other Israeli citizens were evacuated in moderate-to-serious condition to a local hospital.

The injured Israelis were later transferred to a hospital in Panama City, about an hour from the scene, where they received assistance from insurance representatives and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Hapoel Tel Aviv mourns Adri's passing

Hapoel Tel Aviv, Adri's favorite sports team, eulogized him in a post to X/Twitter. 

"Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Football Club mourns the death of the team's fan, the late Nadir Edri," the group wrote on X.

Adri was described as always having the "biggest smile, always the first to help, the first to lift a friend who was having a hard time, the first to make everyone laugh, and a true friend, Nadir, in the full sense of the word."

"An amazing child who respects his parents, a soul that is impossible not to love," Hapoel Tel Aviv wrote. "He was a die-hard Hapoel fan, and with a huge red heart."
