The IDF rescued an Israeli civilian from the Palestinian village of Hizma, north of Jerusalem, on Thursday evening, Ynet reported.
The civilian entered the village, but was trapped inside after the military imposed a blockade in response to locals throwing stones at an Israeli vehicle traveling on Highway 60, the report noted.
The military has not commented on the incident at the time of writing.
Authorities rescue Israeli woman from Jericho in Area A
While Hizma is in Area C as part of east Jerusalem, over the past weeks, multiple Israelis have been rescued from Area A after unintentionally and in some incidents, intentionally, entering the PA-controlled area.
Authorities rescued a 22-year-old Israeli woman from Jericho in Area A of the West Bank on Wednesday night, Maariv reported.
The woman was then handed over to the IDF to be transported out of Area A, and the case was handed over to the Israel Police for investigation.
On Sunday, three Jewish Israelis similarly entered Jericho after making a navigational mistake before being rescued.
Two additional Israelis entered Area A on Sunday while under the influence of alcohol.
The two were spotted entering a garage in Tulkarm, which was reported to the Civil Administration. They were subsequently turned over to the IDF for transport out of the West Bank, before the incident was handed over to the Israel Police for further investigation.
At least six additional incidents of Israelis entering Area A also occurred in December 2025.
