Israelis reported internet outages nationwide on Tuesday, with users experiencing mobile data and signal issues.

The Communications Ministry said the cause of the incident was unknown, while malfunctions were mainly reported on Hot Mobile and Partner.

"From the moment the ministry discovered that the problem existed, an inquiry was made with the relevant parties in order to handle the problem as quickly as possible and for the benefit of consumers," they said in a statement.

Partner, one of the country's main telecommunications companies, addressed the issue and informed its clients that its services had returned to full operation.

Witnesses at the Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon station reported that commuters were struggling to exit the station due to the disruptions and additional issues with their ticket applications.
