Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, when asked about Western accusations that Moscow is conducting a hybrid war against European countries, said on Tuesday that it was Europe that was at war with Russia.
"I have no doubt that this is a war Europe is waging against us," Lavrov told reporters, citing Europe's supply of weapons to Ukraine.
Meanwhile, a US official said on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev held "constructive" talks Monday with the US about ending the Ukraine war, including possible US-Russia energy initiatives in the postwar period.
