The International Atomic Energy Agency said on Friday it has secured an agreement between Russia and Ukraine to implement a localized ceasefire for repairs to begin on the last remaining backup power line to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
"The IAEA continues to work closely with both sides to ensure nuclear safety at the ZNPP and to prevent a nuclear accident during the conflict," Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said in a statement on Friday.
