Shabbos Kestenbaum is an American Jewish activist and graduate of Harvard Divinity School. In January 2024, he served as the lead plaintiff in a lawsuit against Harvard University, alleging that the institution failed to address antisemitic harassment and discrimination against Jewish and Israeli students in the aftermath of the October 7 attacks.
Kestenbaum has testified before the United States Congress on antisemitism in higher education and addressed the Israeli Knesset, where he was honored for his advocacy. He appears in national media, such as CNN, Fox News, and Newsmax, as a commentator on Jewish identity, Israel, and religious freedom.
