The Antisemitism Research Center (ARC) by CAM recorded a 200% rise in antisemitic vandalism this week, with 12 incidents accounting for 11.8% of the global total of 101 incidents across all categories.
A geographic antisemitic hotspot was Spain, where 11 incidents, including seven acts of graffiti, were recorded, nearly matching the country's June total in just one week. This came as the city of Hoyo de Manzanares became the second Spanish municipality to formally adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) Working Definition of Antisemitism in the past month.
Prominent incidents tracked by the ARC this week included:
- France: Police opened an investigation after weapons were found in a suspicious car parked near a synagogue in a northern Paris suburb.
- Germany: Activist Greta Thunberg wore a "Yalla Intifada" shirt at a protest in Berlin.
- Sweden: Anti-Israel demonstrators in Stockholm altered a mock Auschwitz gate, replacing “Arbeit Macht Frei” with “Gaza."
- United States: The Justice Department filed federal charges against a Texas man who threatened to kill Jews at a Georgia company.

CAM Pays Tribute to Late US Senator Lindsey Graham
CAM mourns the sudden passing of Senator Lindsey Graham. An American patriot and advocate for freedom and democracy across the globe, Senator Graham stood as a stalwart friend of the Jewish people and state over his decades of public service. May his memory forever be a blessing.
