The smart home world is leveling up, and this time it’s not about another lamp that turns on from the smartphone, but someone – or something – running around between your legs. Ronlight Technologies announced the start of marketing in Israel of the robotics brand Enabot, which offers a series of mobile robots designed to bridge the gap created when we are away from home. Unlike stationary security cameras, these robots are able to move between rooms, follow pets and serve as a two-way communication tool with children or elderly parents.

Enabot’s entry into the local market comes against the backdrop of significant growth in the field of “family companion robots”. According to industry estimates, this category is expected to grow at an annual rate of about 22.5% in the coming years. The goal here is not just dry security, but creating a remote presence. The company’s robots, which holds more than 150 patents in the field, combine infrared sensors, autonomous navigation capabilities and the ability to return to the charging station independently when the battery weakens.

The main series to be marketed in Israel is the EBO. The entry-level model, EBO SE, offers a Full HD camera and movement on a chassis of small rubber tracks at a price of NIS 599. The next level is the EBO Air 2 model, priced at NIS 999, equipped with a 2K camera and advanced navigation sensors that allow it to avoid obstacles and climb carpets or thresholds up to a height of 6 mm.

For those interested in the technological cutting edge, the EBO Air 2 Plus model (priced at NIS 1,799) already integrates artificial intelligence based on models like ChatGPT and Gemini. This robot is capable of performing autonomous patrols in the home (Smart Patrol), identifying movement and sending alerts to the mobile device in real time, while equipped with a wide-angle 3K camera and a strong battery that allows up to four hours of continuous operation.

Alongside these, the ROLA Mini was also launched, a dedicated robot for pet owners priced at NIS 699. It allows owners to “play” with the dog or cat remotely, record videos autonomously and manage two-way communication. Emanuel Varolker, CEO of Ronlight, noted with the launch that the brand is intended to help modern families cope with the challenges of distance and daily supervision. The products are available through the official importer and selected stores.
