Clean breathing even in winter: Dyson maintains air quality at home.

Winter brings a desire to make the home a warm, calm, and pleasant place – but when windows are closed, air quality can suffer.

This is where the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Gen1 – HP10 model comes into play – a versatile hot and cold air purifier based on Air Multiplier™ technology that distributes clean and fresh air to every corner of the home and maintains a healthy environment even during the most closed-off season.

Although the Gen1 model does not detect all types of pollutants (and does not include formaldehyde detection), it filters them all – except formaldehyde – and provides the core capabilities of Dyson’s advanced air purifiers, with easy control via remote.

Dyson engineers redesigned the air filters to be the first fully sealed HEPA H13 standard filters, capturing 99.95% of tiny particles and preventing pollutants from leaking into the air you breathe.

Beyond purification, the device also excels in capturing unpleasant odors, including lingering cooking smells such as those from frying donuts, leaving the room clean and fresh quickly.

This feature is especially important in winter, when people ventilate less, and it can also ease the breathing of sick children.

The HEPA+Carbon filter requires replacement once every 12 months, and the device automatically notifies the user.

The LCD screen shows the filter lifespan, while the catalytic filter does not require replacement at all.

Additionally, the product comes with a two-year warranty and service.

Many people turn on heaters, scented candles, or use air fresheners to create a warm winter atmosphere, but some release volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and tiny particles that can cause irritation.

Therefore, alongside the air purifier, it is recommended to choose natural candles made of soy, coconut, or beeswax, with a natural wick and no synthetic fragrances, and to ensure a short daily ventilation – even just ten minutes.

With Dyson, you can enjoy the tempting scents of winter – without compromising on air quality and health.

Yullia, a premium laser hair removal and aesthetic treatment chain owned by Yulia Gal, launched Winter Care – a dedicated winter treatment series for hands and feet, specially adapted to the cold season and skin needs during this period.

The treatments address dryness, cracks, and increased moisture that can create conditions for fungal development, combining professional touch with quality materials to create smoother and healthier results.

The treatment includes a full winter pedicure or manicure, gentle peeling, warm and relaxing paraffin bath, short nourishing massage, and home care adaptation with PROVEN products.

I had never done a pedicure, let alone experienced a paraffin treatment, but the opportunity fascinated me and I came.

Although winter had barely arrived, my skin responded, and I was happy to understand the therapeutic significance of the pedicure.

Nadia, the lovely and professional therapist, provided a precise and enjoyable treatment, and my feet came out as smooth as silk.

The paraffin bath was amazing, and what it did for my feet was pure magic!

The branch location at Azrieli Mall Tel Aviv was perfect – there is nothing like combining a shopping day with a moment of pampering for body and soul.

The winter series includes five treatments and comes with pampering gifts from PROVEN: cuticle serum and foot or hand cream.

“Rodfot” – new exhibition at Edmond de Rothschild Center 12.11.25–20.2.25

Edmond de Rothschild Center launches “Rodfot,” a group exhibition of nine artists and two curators, examining the concept of ghosts through creation, dialogue, and shared learning.

The exhibition draws on Jacques Derrida’s philosophy and explores manifestations of memory, repression, and trauma – both personal and collective.

The title “Rodfot” expresses a choice to listen to spirits rather than banish them, seeking through them a new possibility for processing past and present.

Curator Maya Bamberger notes that the group – including Arab, Bedouin, Druze, and Jewish artists – worked together during a charged period, exploring spirits as representations of what was repressed, forgotten, or seeking recognition.

Notable works include:

Sculptural installation using materials collected from cemeteries (Maya Duniec)

Printing machine illustrating a cyclical hate dialogue (Laila Abd Elrazaq)

Lithography stone with a processed image of Eichmann (Michaela Weinfeld Fleischman)

Hybrid painting on family memory in the Galilee (Aisha Kadri)

Vulnerable body sculptures made from aluminum foil and wax (Malak Manzour)

Dance installation in an infinite loop (Gal Levinson)

Curator: Maya Bamberger

Assistant Curator: Adi Lamm

“The Escape from Tehran” – the moving story of Diana Rahmani

Diana Rahmani grew up in Tehran in a warm, tradition-observing Jewish family, at a time when Iranian Jews lived in security and good neighborly relations.

The Islamic revolution and Khomeini’s rise to power changed everything: strict laws, intimidation, bombings, and the rapidly declining status of Jews.

The murder of the Jewish man Alkanian shocked the community, and the family realized the situation was too dangerous.

A secret envoy from the Jewish Agency reached them, and from that moment they embarked on an escape that was supposed to last two days – but extended to almost six months of fear, separation, and uncertainty, until they finally reached Israel.

In her book, Diana describes not only the escape but also her roots in Iran, her love of cooking that began in childhood, her path in Israel: educational work with children on the spectrum, Persian cooking workshops attracting audiences from across the country, and her major exposure on “MasterChef,” which made her a beloved and representative figure of Persian cuisine.

“The Escape from Tehran” is a true story of courage, faith, and preserved Jewish identity even in the most difficult moments – a journey culminating in the triumph of spirit and love for Israel.
