Taking a coffee break in the middle of the road just got easier. Pango, Israel's leading transportation app, has launched a collaboration with the CoffeeTrail coffee cart index. Pango users will be able to view and locate coffee carts across the country directly from the map in the app and navigate to them with a tap.
CoffeeTrail’s coffee carts will appear on the Pango map with dedicated green icons indicating their locations throughout the country — in parking lots, parks, promenades, beaches, and major hiking spots. By tapping the icon, users can view details about the cart — including its name, location, a short description, operating hours, and additional information from the CoffeeTrail portal — and even navigate directly to it through the app.
As part of the launch, Pango will offer a coffee-size upgrade to anyone who arrives via the new feature. Additional and varying benefits will be offered later when purchasing at CoffeeTrail carts.
Part of a broader growth strategy
The new initiative aligns with Pango’s broader growth strategy, which consistently expands its services. Recently, the company launched Pango Flights, a service that allows users to book international flights directly from the app, along with an international data package and the purchase of attractions around the world. This latest development joins additional services already offered by Pango, such as payment for public transportation, digital car-wash services, and smart-parking solutions.
Yonatan Alon, CEO of Pango, said: “Integrating coffee carts into the Pango map is much more than just another new feature — it’s real news for the driving and travel experience of Israelis.” According to him, “Together with CoffeeTrail, we are connecting advanced technology with the small moments that make everyday Israeli life happier. Stopping at a coffee cart in the middle of the way is something we all know, love, and look for — and now it’s accessible at the push of a button.”
Alon added: “Beyond convenience and the travel experience, this initiative is also our commitment to supporting local entrepreneurs and encouraging the hundreds of small businesses that operate in the field every day. They are part of the Israeli landscape and part of our heart as a platform that accompanies millions of drivers.”
