The home vacuum cleaner market continues to evolve, and the demand for multi-functional devices that provide vacuuming, washing, and self-maintenance is on the rise. UWANT, a relatively new Chinese brand in the Israeli market, is trying to bring order to home cleaning with the D600 model – a combined vacuum and mop, including a smart docking station that claims to do almost everything by itself.

UWANT began marketing in Israel through the SG Group, and in addition to the vacuum-mop it offers cordless vacuums, stain cleaners, and dedicated mite vacuums. The brand is very well known in the international market and has a significant presence in the Chinese market.

One of the elements that distinguishes the D600 from other devices in the category is its docking station. Instead of leaving the dirty work to the user, this station – which, compared to other vacuum-mops, does not take up much space – performs self-cleaning of the roller, hot-water disinfection at a temperature of 100 degrees, drying with hot air, and even includes a built-in odor neutralization system.

In practice, the station seems advanced, and its use definitely eases the daily routine. Instead of disassembling, washing, and reassembling – most of the maintenance is done automatically at the push of a button.

Design that allows easy access

The UWANT D600 is also designed to reach places that most vacuums struggle with. Its thickness is only 12 cm, and it allows a convenient 180-degree tilt – which significantly facilitates cleaning under beds, sofas, and low furniture. In addition, the ergonomic AirGrip handle provides a comfortable grip that allows long use without hand fatigue.

During use, the vacuum handled daily dirt well, including crumbs, semi-dry liquids, and hair. The combination of vacuuming and washing simultaneously creates a feeling of deeper cleanliness than regular vacuums provide, especially in high-traffic areas such as the kitchen or dining area. Most importantly, there is no sense that dirt is being spread from place to place.

The ability to choose between operation modes – vacuum only, wash only, or a combination – adds flexibility, especially in homes with parquet floors.

Odor neutralization technology

The model also includes PureScent Guard+, an odor neutralization system designed to prevent unpleasant smells from accumulating inside the device and the station. This is a feature not easy to test in the short term, but in terms of freshness after use – the difference is very noticeable compared to other vacuums we tried.

The device’s working time is up to 60 minutes, depending on the operating mode and the type of floor. In practice, this is enough for regular cleaning of an average-sized apartment. A full charge takes several hours – a standard matter in this category.

In conclusion, the UWANT D600 tries to be many things at once – a vacuum, mop, disinfectant, and self-maintaining device – and it definitely succeeds in fulfilling many of these promises. The automatic station significantly reduces the need for manual handling, and together with its slim design and ease of use, it is a suitable solution for those looking for minimal maintenance with maximum results.

It is not one of the most expensive devices in the category (NIS 2,190) – so for those who are too lazy to wash the house in the traditional way, or simply want to remove the burden of maintenance, it is definitely a worthwhile investment.
