At an event held at Dyson’s showroom in the German capital, 11 new products were revealed, illustrating the company’s vision for the coming years. The company’s founder, Sir James Dyson, presented a range of solutions in cleaning, air filtration, and personal care. At the center of the event stood the cordless Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine vacuum, defined as the new flagship model. Alongside it were presented an AI-based robotic vacuum, a compact and ultra-quiet air purifier, as well as a series of hair care products based on natural ingredients. Beyond showcasing new technologies, the event served as a clear statement of Dyson’s continued ambition to lead the field of advanced home appliances.
The Dyson V16 Piston Animal Submarine vacuum is equipped with a 900-watt Hyperdymium motor—one of the most powerful the company has developed—delivering 315 air watts of suction power. To tackle the issue of hair tangling in brushes, it features a dual-cleaning head called All Floor Cones Sense, which directs hair straight into the dustbin. The head detects the type of floor and adjusts suction power and brush speed, enabling smooth transitions from hard floors to thick carpets. In addition, the vacuum comes with a new wet head called Submarine 2.0, which includes a microfiber roller for cleaning stains and liquids. A 300 ml water tank allows coverage of up to 110 square meters.
Another innovation is the CleanCompaktor dustbin, which compresses dirt and allows up to 30 days of continuous use before emptying. An internal mechanism cleans surfaces during emptying and prevents direct contact with dust. The vacuum includes a five-layer HEPA filtration system that captures 99.99 percent of the smallest particles—including allergens and bacteria—ensuring cleaner air output. LED lighting reveals invisible dust, while the removable battery provides up to 70 minutes of operation. A connection to the MyDyson app provides maintenance alerts and usage guides, alongside dedicated tools for cleaning narrow corners, high areas, and pet hair.
Dyson did not settle for a single vacuum at the event. Among the new products highlighted was the Dyson PencilVac (first introduced in May)—an ultra-thin vacuum with a diameter of just 38 mm, allowing easy access under furniture and into hard-to-reach areas. Another model was the Dyson V8 Cyclone, an updated version of a model first launched in 2016. The new vacuum offers 30 percent more suction power, 50 percent longer run time, and a new trigger-free power button.
In the field of robotics, Dyson introduced the Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai—a robotic vacuum equipped with a smart camera and an AI system that detects stains and verifies if they have been removed. The robot maneuvers around obstacles like cables and socks, continuing to clean until achieving a complete result. In air filtration, the company presented the Dyson HushJet Purifier Compact, a compact and ultra-quiet purifier that delivers high filtration power while significantly reducing noise—44 decibels at full effort and 24 decibels in sleep mode.
The hair care field also received attention with the Dyson Supersonic r hair dryer, smaller and lighter than previous models, and the Airwrap Co-anda 2x styling tool, offering double the airflow pressure for faster and more versatile styling. In addition, Dyson unveiled the Dyson Omega line—a natural hair care collection based on omega-rich oils cultivated at the company’s farms in England.
At the conclusion of the event, James Dyson said: “Our goal is to reinvent everyday products through advanced engineering. The products we’ve presented here demonstrate a combination of power, technological integration, and ease of use.” With this, the company clarified that it sees itself continuing to shape the future of home life, with products designed to be more efficient, quieter, and more accessible to consumers.
