Pelephone has launched a new promotion in collaboration with the tourism company Issta, under which flight tickets to international destinations will be given to buyers of premium series smartphones. This is the first campaign of its kind in Israel, lasting three weeks.
As part of the benefit, customers purchasing the iPhone 16 models, Galaxy S25, or the foldable smartphones Z Flip 7 and Z Fold 7, will receive a flight ticket to one of the following destinations: Athens, Larnaca, Rhodes, Bucharest, Sofia, Tbilisi, Paphos, or Batumi. The order can be placed until November 15, and the flights will take place in the period after the holidays and until February 2026. Customers who will not be able to find a suitable flight on those dates will receive a voucher worth 200 dollars for use on the Issta website.
Alongside the benefit, Pelephone offers the option of trade-in for the old device worth up to NIS 3,000 as well as lifetime warranty for the new device – an unusual step in a market where the standard warranty is only one year.
“In a survey we conducted this year, we found that as part of coping with the high cost of living, 41% of Israelis said they will reduce vacations abroad this year, and 26% will delay upgrading their smartphone. Our new campaign provides a solution and allows enjoyment of both,” said Dror Bahat, Vice President of Marketing at Pelephone.
At Issta, they explained that the collaboration allows customers to enjoy flights to popular destinations according to their preferences. The company’s Vice President of Strategy and Marketing, Tali Noy, said that the connection with Pelephone is intended to create added value for customers through a combination of a technological purchase and a vacation experience.
The campaign is accompanied by an advertising campaign featuring Yehuda Levi, the company’s presenter.
